Do I have to send my credit card through the Internet to book a reservation? Is your reservation processing secure?
A. 
A credit card is required for all reservations made via www.hyatt.com. For your protection, the reservation processing is handled on a secured server that encrypts your credit card information.
Q. 
Do I need to guarantee my reservation with a credit card or some form of deposit? If a deposit is required to guarantee my reservation, when will my credit card be charged?
A. 
Yes, a credit card is required in order to guarantee a reservation made via the Internet. In some instances a deposit will also be required when confirming your reservation. The guarantee/deposit policy is available by clicking on the appropriate link under "Reservation Details" in Step 3 of the reservation process.
Guarantee policies differ from hotel to hotel. If the Hyatt hotel at which you are staying requires a credit card deposit, your credit card will be charged as soon as the hotel can process it. However, it is not necessary to use the same credit card for payment for your stay at the hotel.
Q. 
Which credit cards can be used to guarantee a reservation?
A. 
Hyatt accepts American Express, MasterCard, Carte Blanche, Diner's Club, Discover, Japan Credit Bureau, Visa, Dragon, Great Wall and Peony.
Q. 
Can I use my Gold Passport awards or Hyatt Travel Partners or Airlines awards?
A. 
You can check Gold Passport Award availability, book select Hotel awards and request Points-to-Miles conversions on-line. Reservations for Gold Passport awards can be booked on-line only after login on http://www.goldpassport.com.
Reservations for Hyatt Travel Partners or Airlines awards cannot be confirmed via Internet.
